Trained under my father who was a professional photographer and then gave up to raise myself and my sister. I am now moving my own way with my photography. I have started a business and wanted to get myself out there and known to the local people. Also my wife who I find myself now teaching the art of photography to as well as my father has become a natural at positioning.

Working mainly in natural light where possible I have also become very serious with my flash photography. I lean on my years of training to teach me new ways to break the laws and seek to find a perfection in what I do.

Equipment wise I have stayed in the Canon camp after a rough patch with a lens that was front focusing my photos out of focus. I have a passion to get more equipment and will after I pay the ones that have put me into debt. I now use a Canon 50d as my primary. I am happy with it and can certainly put up a good fight with it when it comes to the 1:1 club. I have a 5d also available to me but tend to now want to stick with the 50d the iso settings help out so much with natural light. I use a sekonic light meter and pocketwizard tt5's to produce my work.

Having commited my life to Nursing has it's downfalls in my photography life but I am just like my Dad, the kids come first and I won't let go of a safe income but instead work family and job around my photography.
