I live near Asheville, North Carolina, and am primarily interested in nature photography, with a focus on capturing images of the remarkable biodiversity of the southern Appalachians and the Southeast United States. I particularly enjoy bird photography, and have exclusively used a Canon 300mm lens. Perhaps one of these days I will be able to afford one of the big guns.
