I've been scanning, cleaning and posting every negative in the house. I decline to make photos of my kids readily available online, But there are a lot of images of places I've lived, worked or visited that are easily seen. My wife Helene and I are transplants to Minnesota from Nova Scotia, on Canada's east coast, via a brief stop in Calgary, Alberta. Many of our photos feature former hometowns like Lunenburg and Halifax.

I'm an editor for a newspaper website in Minneapolis and have spent my career in the newspaper business. Though, it's probably evident by now that I wasn't a pro news photog.
