For the past 14 years HDF has been fighting extreme poverty through a unique holistic model of development focused on lasting change. The cornerstone of HDF’s efforts is our commitment to working directly with communities through our social mobilization program. In this, HDF facilitates the formation of democratic community organizations which empower individuals to have a say in the decisions that affect them. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, and have an opportunity to succeed.
