About Karl: I am a real lover of art, and worked as an artist for two years. I also like to think of a photograph as a work of art, and believe if one has no real artistic quality then it is not worth showing to people I like to think that a photo captures a memorable moment in time and tells its own story. It can provide a means to escape reality and remember a better time and place, also asking certain questions. We all need to reflect at times, and I feel everyone should have a collection of pictures to allow them to do this. I started taking photos at the age of sixteen, so have a wealth of experience. I have also done portfolios for over ten years, in which I like to add colour and my own personal touch. After working for GBH Magazines for six years as a full time photographer, I went on to work for Gam Model Magazines. I worked there for four years doing four shoots a day in London. I decided to start Hugger Studios two years ago and have never looked back
