Have been shooting catalog photography for a few years and an image editor professionally, for 18.

My goal as of joining Flickr, and from picking up a camera in the first place, is to REDUCE the amount of reliance I've had on using PhotoShop in fixing my images.

I'm no purist, but I don't like crutches either.
I DO appreciate constructive critism, seek it in fact.

Realize that for me, this page is for fun.
I'm not trolling for work, I have a great job that I love.
Herein you'll find pictures of my dog and kids next to more serious work.

I'm a self taught Photoshop junky having started with version 2.5 and now using CS4.
I own two DSLR bodies, a 40D and 5D Mk II, both with battery grips.
Lens's I own are 24-70L2.8, 70-200L2.8IS, 10-22, 100mm Macro, 28-135mm.
My prefered light source is the Sun.

When that's not possible I use an array of DynaLite Packs (5), SB's, Beauty Dishes, etc.
Lately I've been having a BLAST with the "Strobist" approach of off camera Speedlites.
