A Shetland Islander by ancestry, I was a Kodak Brownie kid (I still have it) and took my first headless shots of my family when I was about 7 years old. I’m a total non techie where photography is concerned. I just go along happily until there’s something I see that I think is worth taking, and then shoot. I hope you like the results!

I'm a bit of a gypsy too, so you might also see photos from many trips when I'm not at work. My favourite areas are the South Pacific, the Caribbean, Japan and the Alaskan/Pacific North West coast of the USA and Canada..

"Multi-talented - nothing gets past her lens. Such a variety of styles and subjects - and the technical skill and style of a photojournalist. Great work."
