Hello. My name is Stacy and I live in Maryland. I am a full time booking agent for local musicians. My husband Joe is in a band and acoustic act. This keeps me quite busy!

Growing up I was always in a photography studio due to the fact that both my mother and grandfather were professional photographers. He taught her the trade and later tried to get me interested in photography but at the time I just wasn't interested. Then...

Digital photography came to be and I got interested! The only difference is where my mother and grandfather took studio photo's, I like more natural, "life happening" photo's, abstracts... I enjoy mostly b&w photography.

My grandfather recently passed away in January 2005. And now in September 2005 I bought my first 35mm camera (other then the cheap point and shoots). I bought myself an older Canon AE-1 Program. I am still just learning the basics of it but I hope to make my mother and my grandfather up above proud of me. My grandfather used to like most of my digital photography although it was different from his style so I hope he'll like what he see's in the future. I am positive he is looking down at me and smiling.

This is for you grandpa... one small was of saying I did pay attention and listen. I remember our talks, I love you now, then and always!

I have a group on Flickr and I hope you'll join:

    Sparkle~and~Fade says:

"I have known HnH for only a little while but time and time again I've been pleasantly surprised by her photography and talent. She's the kind of photographer that is able to bring out the beauty of simplicity so clearly in her shots. Black and white is her weapon of choice, and boy does she wield it well! Her black and white shots are captivating for their simplicity and because they uniquely portray the "human experience" She is particularly good at capturing every day life with her lens. Whenever I view her pictures, it seems like I was there when she took that shot too. I look forward to her new shots and wish her well on all her photographic endeavours."

    Psycho Crow says:

"I always say "say what you mean", and that applies to Stacy's photos, they are a view of life as we all see it. A snapshot in time, there is no "this is how I interpret it", which invariably introduces controversy. I feel Stacy would make a good journalistic photographer. However, if you look at her self portraits, there is definitely artistic qualities to these shots which I feel she has mastered with subtlety and sensuality. Keep up the good work Stacy."

    Generation X-Ray says:

"Stacy has a nice eye for intimacy in her photos. As a viewer I feel lucky to be able to share in her perspective of her world. She takes chances with her subjects, especially when shooting a self portrait. You can feel an honesty in her sets. No pretense, just her living in this crazy place we call life."
