Photography is an extension of who I am. I shoot for me. If I see something I like, I snap it. I appreciate feedback and comments, but know that I took a photo for a reason -- because it was something I liked. I know I could be better technically, but at times I get lazy.
I process many of the photos on my Flickr account, some of the others are just cropped -- if that.
My photo interests are: sports, waterfalls, covered bridges, rivers/streams and people.
Photography for me is usually a getaway.
I'm a bit of a semi-pro at it, being I've done several weddings and been published many time (mainly sports), but it's when there's no pressure of shooting for the dollar that it becomes more fun.
Words are also a love. I write for a living. But photography takes me away from the working world. And takes me somewhere all new. Somewhere I like to be!

I'm not sure how I found PJ's photos originally. I think it was via a geocaching photo challenge maybe. Even though we have not met in person, I feel like I know him through his photos. I appreciate his ability to challenge me with his various photo projects. Without a doubt, his sports photographs are top notch, from lacrosse to wrestling and especially disc golf. His profile is always one of the first I go to when opening Flickr.

I have enjoyed looking through P.J. photo stream there is always something new, something exciting and something you may have never seen otherwise. A brilliant sports photographer has to be committed to his work and not just be there at the right time although that can help. ;) I have enjoyed your take on the world and hope to see many more shots from you. Thanks for sharing mate. Fred

P.J., This is not to get even :) Alright. So the point of testimonials is to tell those who visit the page about the photographer. I'm not very good at writing these, but I'll give it a shot. P.J. is a very talented photographer. He shoots a wide variety of things that make looking at his stream an adventure. Not only is he a great photographer, he is an awesome flickr friend. He always has something nice to say and he (unlike me) is good at keeping up with his contacts. So I've got to give him kudos for that. Anyway, the point is you've got to check him out and keep coming back to see all the photos he takes on his adventures :)
