These photographs were taken by homeless people from The Connection at St Martin's photography group.

Each week The Connection at St Martin's has provided members of the group with disposable cameras to document life on the streets of London. Being homeless can be isolating and lonely so this workshop gives people the chance to share some of the things they see and experience.

Every week the group discuss their photos, experiment with different digital media and explore themes emerging from their photos. Each member of the group is working towards developing an audio slideshow with their photographs.

Some of these photographs are being used in conjunction with the BBC Radio 4 St Martin-in-the-Fields Christmas Appeal.
