My grandfather served on the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Battler in the Second World War. He was on HMS Battler for the duration of her service in the Second World War between 1942-1945 - notably around the Battle of Salerno, Italy. He was responsible for HMS Battler Flying Operations and I am trying to get his HMS Battler diaries and photos online so that they can be shared with a wider audience.
