"I have been looking at hiromy's photos for many months now. They are all interesting but her collection "People" is the one that I like most of all. I particularly commend the sets "on train", "salarymen" and "keitai life".
These photos here are so real, so candid and such an accurate portrait of certain aspects of modern Japanese life. People text on their keitai (translates as 'mobile' or 'cellphone'). They look at their latest purchase. But most of all they sleep, often at impossible angles!
Remember that hiromy's photos are not of tourist Japan, not of Mt.Fuji, temples nor the bright lights of Shinjuku. But PLEASE!, do take time to view her photostream......you will not be disappointed at this window into part of the everyday life of 21st century urban Japan.
