I'm just a kizzle gettin' my photo on!

I am the fortunate daughter of a recreational photographer with a solid technique, artistic eye and an ability to plainly explain concepts of light and its capture.

I've recently moved to Marin County, California (just north of San Francisco) where I am finding so much inspiration to snap off a bunch of shots. There's so much simplicity and beauty in this area, I'm really amazed. I also recently purchased a bike, so I'm getting views and finding images I wouldn't get otherwise (i.e. via car).

I have two loving little cats who seem not to mind being the subject of many of my photos. Well, maybe they do, but I just can't stop!

I love being part of the Flickr community where I am meeting lots of people from all over the world. What I like best about this site is being privy to so many different perspectives and getting ideas and pointers from others who are learning (or who have already accumulated so much knowledge) about photography.
