Highstead is a nonprofit organization that works to conserve the forested landscape of New England through science, sound stewardship, and collaboration with our regional partners.

Located in Redding, Connecticut, Highstead was founded in 1982 as an arboretum. Our 150 spectacular areas of woodland includes two miles of trails, and is home to a mountain laurel collection that is among the largest in the world.
