The High Country Motel was first established in 1962 and was built in the typical alpine-style found throughout the area.

The Motel is situated on 4.4 acres of gardens and natural bushland. All 40 units are ground floor and equipped with reverse-cycle air-conditioning, ensuite, televisions, refrigerators, clock radios, tea & coffee making facilities and electric blankets

The spacious, open lounge with bar overlooks the pool and the adjacent hillside and as many as 70 people can enjoy, in comfort, the lovely log fire and the beautiful view. Our “Top of the Town” restaurant, which has magnificent views over Cooma and surrounding countryside, can accommodate up to 120 people at meal times orchestrated by our enthusiastic professional team.

There is also a dance floor, karaoke and a swimming pool.
