  I've known Higashitori since we were in school together 5, maybe 6 years ago. Sharing the same passion for Japan. Less than a year ago, we both found a new passion : Photography. Higashitori bought his first DSLR camera, a Nikon D40. Some months later I bought mine, Sony-sucker that I am I went for a Sony A100. Likewise, both of us went our own way into the photographic world, but shared our experiences as well. From the beginning I noticed that Higashitori has a very good eye and intuition for catching the right moment, noticing the best face out of a crowd, to make a good picture.
  
  At times I see him as a very 'classic' photographer. Portraits, flowers and landscapes. Photoframes around his images to give it a stylish look ^^
  He's also very good at manually adjusting all his camera settings to get a picture right from the first time. He works manually almost always. The word autofocus isn't in his dictionary ^_^
  
  Even though he's never taken pictures before a year ago, he quickly advanced into one fine photographer.
  My friend, keep it up and show me your version of life trough pictures, and I shall show you my version.
