Grew up in Nova Scotia, lived in Toronto (17 years), Calgary (15 years) and am now happily settled in Victoria, British Columbia where it never snows (well, hardly ever). Working part time at the newish Mountain Equipment Coop store here and spending time hanging out with the dog.
Also trying to learn to paddle my new kayak without going upside down. There's something to be said for not being able to teach old dogs new tricks.
Past careers have included personnel administrator with Indian and Northern Affairs and classical music producer with CBC Radio.
