Hi! I work as a jazz vocalist, I love singing and making music.. it's fun, it lifts me up and I feel incredibly lucky everyday to do it! You can see my music stuff here: www.hettykate.com if you like. I also work part time, well perhaps more as a hobby, as a designer.. both print and website. I love design, typography and computers. I also love to travel and do a LOT of it. And more in keeping with this Flickr profile, I just adore taking photos and am often confronted with questions like; "you're not taking ANOTHER photo are you?" or "what on earth are you taking a photo of THAT for?". Photos are such a fabulous way to capture a split second of your reality (or an alternate reality), in a wonderfully singular and private way with your own eyes. Light interests me and lines interest me. I enjoy taking photos of buildings too! I am a canon junkie and have a Canon IXUS 80IS which I really enjoy - I find Canon cameras quick to focus and easy to operate. You can do a lot with them.
