I am an illustrator living in California.
I like simple characters and shapes, whimsical, colorful, playful. I've been especially influenced by 1950's cartoons, illustrations and advertising, Jay Ward, Rankin Bass, UPA, JP Miller, Aliki, Lois Lenski, Albert Aquino, Leonard Kessler, Milt Groth.
I've been collecting vintage children's books for many years. Great inspiration! The illustrators of the past have been my best teachers.
