Henning Fischer was born in Germany and spent a majority of his early life in Berlin before moving to New York City in 2005. He discovered his passion for photography when he was traveling through Vietnam in 2006. Followed by further travels through Asia, Central America and Europe he discovered his “gift” to make strangers feel at ease in front of his lens. He captures unique moments in time and his portraitures speak through the eyes of the people he photographs, seen in his Berlin Solo Show “Vietnam – Honduras: Life on the other side”. His style of photography is constantly evolving and way of dealing with the digital age was featured in his New York Solo Show “Diversity: the next moment in time and the digital engulfment” in 2009. As a self-taught photographer striving for a world without winter he is currently residing in Los Angeles where he also is working as an actor. Some of his work can be seen here...
