I am a painter, graphic artist and body artist.

Formerly the owner of one of the West Coast's most popular and respected henna businesses, Gilded Lilies Henna Arts, I am based in Seattle, Washington under my new name of HennaDervish. I have a deep emotional connection with Greece, and see-saw back and forth between Athens and Seattle depending on what's happening in my life at that time. My preference is Athens!

I am passionate about bringing traditional henna to the public and enjoy teaching workshops on safe henna techniques, history and cultural traditions.

I love to paint primarily in acrylics and mixed media, but also work in photography and digital collage. My artwork ranges from decorative, abstract to symbolic and topical/political.

other unnecessary stuff to know - I'm a 61 yr old aging bohemian with a taste for souvlaki, rebetiko music, middle east art'npolitics.
