I'm 28 years old and have always been the one who bugs everyone by taking too many pics! I got my first 35mm SLR when I was 16 and spent days and weeks writing down in my little notebook, which settings I'd used for each frame (no exif in those days!) To teach myself what had worked and what hadn't.
I always longed to be a world famous travel/humanitarian/world affairs photographer and writer but it never quite happened!
I wasn't too thrilled about joining the digital age but I did so anyway. For some reason my enthusiasm for photography wained a little and I found myself getting into some lazy habits with my DSLR. I went through a whole year without even touching my 30D and I even bought a point and click!
It wasn't until a holiday to the gorgeous Isle of Mull when I'd left behind my 30D, that I realised how much I missed my camera. I went home, took it out of its neglected hiding place and started to play. My interest is soaring again and I'm making an effort to improve my skills every day.
