Aged 73, I live near Stratford-on-Avon in England, with my wife of 49 years, and play at photography when I have time.

*CONTACTS* - I can't handle multitudes. I am slow and i want to be slow. To admire a good photo needs some time. So does commenting. I think with over 600 contacts i have more already than I can reasonably follow. So please understand that I can't put you on my list just because you do this with me. But when you do comment on my 'stream I will always try to visit yours, too. And from time to time I will take people off my list so I can add new ones. Please don't take this personally.

*GROUPS* - This is much the same story as my plethora of Contacts. I see that I am subscribed to more than 300 and, clearly, this is far too many to allow me to do justice to any of them. So, again, I'm going to cut back rather drastically and, again, please don't take this personally.

*FAVORITES* - I don't normally use the Favorites facility. Instead, I put those pictures I admire, or which move me, into Galleries and, sometime when I can raise the enthusiasm to learn how to do it, I may invite all those whose image feature in my Galleries to allow the appearance of their work in an exclusive Group moderated only by me.

*COPYRIGHT* - Because several of my images have been stolen I have set things such that they cannot now be downloaded - or, at least, it is much more difficult for the casual thief. If you want to use any of my work the chances are that I shall be delighted. But please ask.

*SIZE*
Most pictures are not uploaded to Flickr with full resolution. If you need better quality just ask me.

*EQUIPMENT* - A Canon 5D plus a few lenses. A Canon G9. PS3 (I can't afford the upgrade and, anyway, I haven't yey learned to use CS3 properly (:-) ).

*FLICKR* - You are great, really! From the day i started i was overwhelmed by the diversity and quality of your photos. I have learned so much from you! And i am thankful for your audience. But frankly, i think we should be much more critical in our comments. So if you see a fault or have an advice, please just tell it!
