  We're both old skool film photographers-- formally trained ones even! With CHEMICALS! OMG... and speaking for myself, a bit lost in the transition between film to digital, but by watching Kathy's stuff here, I was reminded that the old skool stuff never truly dies... you just build on top of that stuff.
  
  Her photos are SMOKIN! If you're new to photography art... take a moment and take in her art... it's bleeding edge, yo.
  
  She's not by any means a suburbian yuppie that bought a dSLR for her first foray into the world of photography. No way. no way.. she did everything from the beginning- the ways the masters did it... walking to school uphill (both ways) barefeet.. in snow up to her chest using a coconut and tinfoil as her first camera.....

(still have those pics) its interesting to see her progress in color and I am very lucky to be able to say that I knew I was in the midst of a very talented artist before everyone else knew it.
