Helios Education Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals in Arizona and Florida to succeed in postsecondary education. Since its inception in 2004, Helios has invested more than $50 million in education-related programs and initiatives that enrich lives and strengthen communities. The Foundation focuses its efforts in three key areas:

Early Childhood Education - Preparing children, birth to five, to enter school prepared to learn and succeed.

Transition Years - Helping youth, grades 5 -12, stay in school, successfully transition between the various stages of education, and graduate academically prepared for postsecondary success.

Postsecondary Scholarships - Providing young adults with access to and the support they need to successfully complete postsecondary education.

As a foundation designed to exist in perpetuity, our commitment to the two states we serve is long-term. As a result, we invest our time, expertise and resources in finding innovative solutions to the complex challenges facing the entire education continuum from pre-k through postsecondary. Our goal is to increase the number of young adults successfully completing postsecondary education with the skills and knowledge necessary to compete in a global economy… leading to an improved quality of life.
