Hi! My name is Helena and I have been living in London for four years and a half, but I am spanish originally.

I discovered photography a few years ago. I took a course on make up for cinema, film and Tv and when I finished I started taking photos to friends to build a portfolio. I was really happy with the results and since then I forgot about make up and I focused on photography.

I was learning on my own at the beggining, now I am taking courses on studio lighting.


I work with a Canon 5d Mark II now, but I started working with a 1000d, I have to say...wonderful camera to start with.
Three lenses: 24-105mm L, 50mm 1.8 (my favourite), 75-300mm
I would like to buy a lensbaby but at the moment I have another priorities, so I guess I have to wait a bit :(

Portrait is my favourite subject. If you take a look at my favourites, nearly all of them are portraits, and portraits of women. I like soft, delicate, full of sensitivity photos.
I do a lot of self-portrait. It is not easy not to be able to see what you are going to get exactly...but I like to do it and it is easy...I am always there for myself!



I love flickr, I spend so much time watching hundreds of photos, you can find wonderful stuff here...
