The following text might contain too many ‘I’s’ and “Me’s’ for a decent lady I am trying to be… and be too long to be readable…
On the other hand, it is practically impossible to say anything about yourself without these pronouns and I thought its better I say more, than forget something important.

My views:
- I take Flicker not only as a place, where one can find beautiful shots, but more as a place where I can meet my Friends on a daily basis, with whom I am happy to discuss all possible topics that might be of mutual interest.
- I don’t mind passing on to discussing something not directly related to a specific shot in my stream, as talking combined with seeing is the best way to discover the world and to find answers to different questions.
- Looking and seeing, as well as listening and hearing, have a radically different meaning for me. I prefer seeing and hearing to the other option.
- I am a straightforward person, but I’d rather prefer not to say anything, than to say that I don’t like something, as I am convinced, that each person in the world is unique and can not like each and every thing that someone else does. I may not like something simply, because I do not understand it. Tolerance is the key.
- On the contrary, if I say that I am ‘stabbed dead’ with the beauty of something, I really mean it.
- I never envy anyone (I gave up this foolish habit when I was 12). If someone does something better, this is only a sign for me, that if I try, I can improve and perform better. Each person has a talent… but his own one. I’ve learnt to be happy for others, who have already managed to unveil this talent at least to themselves.
- I come to Flickr as often as I can, as I really enjoy it. Believe me, I am not looking for someone to quarrel with or to prove how clever I am. Life is not an easy thing, it hits us when we expect it less of all and I value the place where I can come without expecting something ‘nasty’ to have happened in my absence.
- I am very happy to have those people among my Friends (most of my Contacts are friends), who are listed there… I am proud of them, I value them and will protect them against any aggression or offence from anyone else, if such happens to occur in my stream (even though, I wish it not to happen).
- I strongly recommend to think twice before saying something that might affect the senses, private life or religion of any of my Contacts or those, who leave decent comments in my stream, as this would mean a direct offence against me. I am a senior moderator on a MotorSport Forum, so, trust me, I can cope with such things. Moreover, my experience shows that any person can ‘hear and see’, provided he or she is approached and addressed in a ‘human’ way.
- Flickr is a unique community, joining people from all over the world… people with different traditions, national habits and way of life – let’s not forget to respect each other and try to understand a different point of view.
- In case someone doesn’t share my point of view or opinion stated in my comment in a photo-stream of another Flickr member, I would insist on discussing any issues in private (via Flickr mail), rather than showing disrespect to the owner of the stream by starting a mess-up there. I do not leave my comments for a purpose of ‘showing off’, I do it because I admire what the person shares with the others and the comment box is not a ‘scramble-box’ – send me a mail and tell me all you think, but at least don’t get third parties involved it time-worthy conflicts.
- Something I have to apologize for, well in advance. English is not my native language and… I like jokes - this might lead to some ‘wrong meanings’. I can be ‘prickly’, but I never mean to be rude. If any of my comments or jokes happen to sound like this I would be very grateful for a few minutes of time spent to tell me, in case you notice something of that kind.

I am far from being good in photography and could not predict that it would become a serious hobby.
I am extremely grateful to a unique person, who has not only helped my life become filled with colour after 2 years of desperate suffering, but inspired me with his remarkable photos and artistic creations.

I would recommend everyone to visit billbenj’s photostream – I doubt you’d want to leave it!

A few things about myself:
- I suffer from a total inability of expressing my thoughts clear and short on paper.
- I do not care much of what other people think of me (if they prefer to think bad things).
- I love English springer spaniels.
- I love traveling and discovering new places.
- I love all seasons, except the coldest and colourless one, but spring and summer are my favourite.
- I prefer +40 degrees C to -10 C.
- I am a workaholic.
- I like to try new extreme sports, like carting, water-bike (the sports variation) and free-fall. Though I hardly have enough time (and money) for serious practice… too old for it, as well.
- I can not swim without my safety jacket and I don’t mind wearing it.
- I love drawing (pencil and water-paint), though hardly have time and space for it now.
- I enjoy designing accessories and learn new crafts as I need them to make my ideas come to life (like beading and crochet).
- I enjoy decorating things and places and find my flat too small for this hobby.
- I am a BMW road cars freak.
- I love supercars and think McLaren F1 is the best ever built. I am a big amateur of any fast cars and bikes.
- I am a senior moderator of a MotorSports Forum.
- I can make a better Buddy Icon, but I prefer to look ‘the same’ all over the Internet and I like the sign on the BMW Williams F1 T-shirt that reads ‘Goodbye Limits’, which that greyish little ‘splash’ actually is.
- I am a gadget-maniac and collect all sorts of unnecessary things that my home is unable to ‘swallow’.

I am a great fan of Motor Sports. Formula 1 is on the top-list.
I regularly follow Moto GP, the GP2 and DTM series. I hope to watch more of the other series, like WTCC, NASCAR, WSR, F3, Superbike next year thanks to an additional cable TV connection.
- I’ve been to a few Formula 1 Grand Prix and this has become a disease. (Most of my photos are uploaded to Flickr).
- I am a ‘lifetime’ fan of McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 Team (I was from the very beginning, when I started following F1… and nothing can stop me being a fan of this team).
- I feel that I am growing old – this year I started loving Ron Dennis.
- I was a fan of Mika Hakkinen, until he left F1 and feel sorry that this year was his last even in the DTM. I will miss him. I am still a fan of Kimi Raikkonen (though he is at Ferrari now).
- I am a big fan of Vitaly Petrov, who is the best ‘representative’ our huge country in the motor world (in the GP2 series) – he is a very talented and modest young man.
- I am absolutely mad about:
-- Lewis Hamilton in F1 (since I saw his first GP2 race in Istanbul in 2006),
-- Adam Carroll in GP2 (I think he is one of the best on the grid and always wish he had a chance to move to F1)
-- Nicky Hayden in Moto GP (he is absolutely charming, a pity I do not always understand his Kentucky accent and have to listen twice to his interviews. I wished him a better Honda for 2008... but...so I hope the Ducatti beast will be more his bike in 2009).

Regarding my ‘favourites’ in motorsport… I would be very grateful not to get dragged into discussions, comparing which team or which driver or rider is ‘better’.
I simply do not take it this way. I have plenty of friends, who are fans of other teams and drivers, and we have a very friendly community on the forum I’m moderating.
I think that each of the racers is risking his life and the teams are working day and night to give us (the viewers and fans) a show… So, I prefer to enjoy it, rather than spend my time on pointless discussions.
I would really like to be understood the right way – for me it is important to see competition on track than to see my team win when the other cars broke down at the starting line.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite all the odds of life, I consider myself to be a happy person - this is the only way I take it and wish everyone would take life as a gift and be happy every other day.

Wishing everyone health and luck!
