These days I spend less and less time in the photo editing booth. I don't have the patience for a lot of that stuff and I also often shoot on auto or aperture priority. I just like capturing a scene and don't worry too much about the color balance and all that jazz. But I am an obsessive cropper and I will sometimes take painstaking care to frame an image just right. It's best to fill the frame the right way from the get go, but with my old camera, I can't always tell what's going to be in the shot through my view finder, ergo the post-shoot cropping. And there is my informal, not-very-elegant, approach to this craft. But I have a passion for poignant images and capturing fleeting, unique moments. Although just a solid hobby of mine, I would really enjoy doing some more freelancing of any sort if I can get the chance.
