Well, I've always been an arts & crafts kind of person...even as a child. Making things from my own hands has always given me a thrill. In Jr. High, when all of my girlfriends were taking Home Economics and learning how to bake with Betty, I was taking Metal, Plastics & Woodshop learning how to make cool pencil-holders and colorful paperweights (my sweet mom still uses them!). I even took an Auto Mechanics class. (I loved being the only girl!) To this day, I still get that kid-like feeling of wonder and amazement when I make something nifty that I love. Back in 1990, I admired some jewelry in a high-end boutique and was turned off by the exploited prices, so I was soon on a mission to create my own designs using my own ingredients. My passion for jewelry making was born that day.

I'm inspired by everything around me...from the colors of flowers or the way a certain shirt neckline falls, to patterns in a fabric or wallpaper. But without a doubt, my greatest inspiration is my Lord and His beautiful creation of clear blue skies (and cloudy ones too), ocean waves, snow-capped mountain peaks and sunset beaches. I love to combine different colors with different textures and shapes in my work based on the way it makes me feel or on the thought and images it represents to me. I also love to appreciate all the people whom God has placed in my path. I've trained myself to notice all the unique qualities of each woman's personality so I can better suit each piece of jewelry to their specific style. In fact, when trying to create a "piece of heart" to add to my collection, my sole intention is always to craft something that is so unique and so emotionally evocative that each person who wears my jewelry would immediately catch my aesthetic vision and make it their own. A little piece of me goes with each piece I make.

I am blessed to stay at home with my 3 boys and to use my passion to create pretty little things for others to adopt as their own.

I'm thrilled to be part of the Etsy community as well as having my own website. Check them out!

I want everyone to enjoy my jewelry knowing that the hand that moved it from raw material into art holds no greater joy than knowing I have moved you as well.
