Thanks for visiting my photos. My name is Horst, I was born in Germany where I grew up. I have also lived in England and Belgium, and currently I am residing in Italy.
I am a scientist with photography as my gratifying pastime. For me it is a way of capturing a moment of the world how I see it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if you like what you see, please leave a comment!
The equipment that I use:
- Canon EOS 40D with the following lenses
- Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM
- CanonEF 50mm f/1.4 USM
- Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 L II USM
- Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM
Some of the older photos here on my Flickr page were shot with an OLYMPUS C3000Z, or with a SONY DSC-T9.
