Flickr has been good to me.
On the whole that is.
When i moved to Seattle I was looking for a way to meet some interesting people. Thanks to flickr and meetup I found the Seattle Flickrites. That has really increased the number of friends I have here. On top of that it allowed me to meet my wife.
On top of that it's a great source of inspiration and allows me to keep in touch with come of my other, faraway, friends. it has even allowed me to meet some new friends.
