It is hard to put into words what photography means to me... what it has given me... Having just faced a most difficult time in my life, photography came to me... as a true calling... I did not go off in search of it, or anything else for that matter... it came to me, and I believe with everything in me that it saved me... turned my world around... allowed me to see things clearly and more beautifully than I had been able in so very long... perhaps EVER. I now can not imagine a day without photos... a day I could survive without capturing just a few of life's very sweet and perfect moments... freezing a second in time... Admiring light and colour and sadness and loss and beauty and perfection... chasing sunset and rainbows and golden fields... A day without that is a day I don't ever want to have to face... For it is in me now... in my veins... a NEED... a part of who I am.
