I am not a photographer, but i take alot of photo's! My camera is a Canon Powershot SX10 10.0 Mega Pixels, and i love it!!! I am an artist, retired drag queen, whiteface clown, former nudist, born again Christian, average 46 year old guy...well maybe not exactly average! I love to paint on anything, including most recently, flesh! Mostly i have painted images from the bible in a style i call "Paint Mosaic" a collage style made up of painted watercolor paper, cut up and assembled onto canvas. Currently i am having fun making photographic self portrait's, involving face painting. Face paint is the most exciting thing that has happened to me in a long while! I believe it may have magical powers! I started a "365 transformations" project and painted my face every day for a year! I have recieved world wide attention with this series, and i have to say, i love all the fuss! Forcing yourself to create art daily is a wonderful experience. I have a new discipline and a spring in my step. I am well into my 2nd. 365 project now, and hope to someday be the man of 1000 faces, like Lon Chaney! My "normal" painting has taken a back seat to my face work lately. For my face paints, i use Kryolan Aqua Color, Snazaroo, and Paradise by Mehron. I attended BurningMan in Nevada three years in a row and it was amazing!!! www.burningman.com I believe it completeIy changed the way i think about art and perhaps the purpose for which i even make art. Art should never be a product. It should be a gift of love and a prayer. Art is silly, and fun, and can be powerful and sacred.     It was important for me to edit this testimonial by adding that you are insane. these wonderful images belong in a book all their own. somehow just writing something here is lacking but I don't know what else to do. I love the face with cheese balls. how nuts and funny is that? I just wouldn't know where to start. and the videos give me a real kick. when i'm feeling down and dreary from all the flower, wet and wide eyed children, goth, and bad surreal stuff masquerading as art I can click on yor photos and laugh .
