I am an artist who lives and works in Washington DC. I have set up this flickr account primarily to display the results of a recent project. The project, "3861 Miles: A Photograph Every 5 Miles," was completed in March of 2005. For these photographs I adhered to the following rules: 1. A photograph must be taken every five miles from starting point Richmond, Virginia until arrival at destination point San Francisco, California. 2. The photograph may depict any subject so long as it is taken without exiting the driver's seat of the automobile.
