I love the everyday and not-so-everyday world around me. I really love faces. Expressions. Classic and not so classic beauty. Dimples get me every time. Musicians. I have a deeper appreciation for art since I met my wonderful man, Brian, who is an artist. He has opened my eyes and my heart wider than ever to this always-changing landscape of my life and surroundings. I see the beauty in everything!

I don't try for anything fancy, "cutting edge" (HATE that term) or artsy. I just try to capture what I see. And I aim to keep it real on every level. I don't go for special effects.

As you can see, I love to take pictures of my food. And any food-related stuff! Do you? It's fun!

I've been surprised and seriously flattered when someone adds one of my pictures as a favorite. These are just pieces of my life that I can finally have an outlet for here at flickr. Thank you to everybody who even looks at them.

My interests in music are almost schitzy, but they all run deep: Cumbia, folk, Celtic, jazz, classical, ambient/electronica (think Echoes Radio), obscure rock 60s to now, old-school reggae, 70s punk, big band/swing, and whatever sounds good to me at any given moment. Not into mainstream. Of anything.
