Originally found Flickr though another member (FODW) who had a Disney group. So I joined and added a bunch of my Disney photos. Then explored flickr more and decided to add what I thought were the better of my photo's.

Been into photography since I was a kid. Got my first camera for x-mas 1981 (or was it '80). Just a Kodak 126. Took many many pictures. Then upgraded to a Kodak Disk sometime in the mid '80's. Took 3 photography classes in high school. Got a Canon SLR, T80 with a 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens in 1986. I upgraded to a Nikon N6006 that I saved long and hard for around 1989/90. That camera went all over with me as I started working in Travel in early 92 (mostly the Caribbean and the UK). Unfortunately that camera and the Canon were stolen Thanksgiving weekend 1996. So I had to save again and sometime in 1997 I got the Nikon N70. Still have that today. Went digital in 2002 with a Canon S30 point & shoot. Used that for about 4 years. In late '05 I started longing again for an SLR. I would use the N70 occassionally and it produced great photos, but digital was just so convenient. On a trip to Disney in Nov '05 I ran into a few people with Canon dSLR's and decided that I would save again. I was sure the Nikon D70s was going to be the camera for me. After researching and reading reviews I ended up going with the Nikon D50. I used some old savings bonds my grandmother had given me as a kid and entered the dSLR world in Jan '06. My grandmother loved taking pictures. She wasn't great at it, but always made sure to capture a memory on film. I have most of her pictures in a few boxes. One of these days I'll go through them and sort them out. Anyway, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I don't have a particular style or anything. If I think it will make an interesting picture, I'll take it. Portrait, landscape, action/sports, travel what ever.
