Arzu Tınaz and Ozgul Yesilbas are the artists behind a very unique kind of stone dolls dressed with Turkish traditional costumes. Arzu and Ozgul bring their traditional Stone Dolls to life and in doing so the dolls reflect the diversity in Traditional Turkish dress.

The two friends collect stones from streams, rivers and along the seashore and they then create their special dolls by “sticking” the stones together. They then use ceramic paste to dress the Stone Dolls and to make the body parts.

Their whimsical creations also include clowns and Christmas characters.
