Right, I know that most of my early pictures look rubbish.
My excuse: I had nothing but a Samsung mobile phone camera those days.

A little later, I inherited my husband's used Sony and then Nikon Coolpix. All good tools to take somewhat decent pictures and get some experience in image composition, and I certainly tried to make the most of them.

In spring 2010, I took some classes in digital photography at uni, where I got introduced to a Nikon D3000. After some initial frustration over how to figure out all those SLR functions, I managed to produce a surprisingly good portfolio :) Since July 2010, I am using a Canon EOS 450D, however, so far I only have an 18-55mm lens - no cash for a telephoto lens yet.

I still don't think that my pics are that special, but I think I am improving a bit and am blessed with nice motives. Also, I enjoy looking at other people's artwork, please don't be confused if you receive a message which says that you were recently added by me!
