Peccato, dicevo, perché Hello Suckers!, è un'artista; una di quelle creature, cioè, che sfuggono alle "classificazioni", alle "etichette". Ma, comunque, qualcosa lo voglio dire. Allora, credo che la cosa che più salta agli occhi, sia l'istantaneità. Hello Suckers!, fa esercizio di questa "forma", catturando l'emozione, a volte, molto più di un'emozione, con la velocità della sorpresa. Il soggetto che, suo malgrado, si fa preda inconsapevole dell'agguato, che, da li a qualche frazione di secondo, scatterà inevitabile. La "struttura" della fotografia di Hello Suckers!, sta tutta li. Direte che, detta così, è ben poca cosa, ma se riflettete un'attimo, vi accorgere te che, invece, è molta cosa, perché nell'istantaneità c'è tutto il senso della fotografia e del suo progresso. Quindi, Hello Suckers!, non fa solo arte, ma anche promozione del mezzo fotografico e delle tecniche ad esso collegate, con un'intelligenza che fa invidia. Per questo, ma anche e soprattutto per le emozioni che egli suscita in me, che lo ringrazio."

  "HS is not a photographer in any traditional sense. He is an artist. He is unique, and for as astounding as his images are, he cannot be imitated: You'd need to have a mind like HS...and no one else does.
  The subjects in his images are not really subjects. They are "characters" from a dramatic novel. These characters have their own story, and the story is most frequently beautiful, sublime, and/or distubing - but always dramatic.
  His images grab you by the throat and won't let go until you are just about ready to pass out.
