I built my first sailboat when I was 12. All of my children have been sailing before they were a month old. I have sailed off of Florida, California, the Virgin Islands, numerous lakes in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I have over 300 days of sailing on Lake Superior, a Lake that I love and respect. My favorite movies are White Squall, Wind, Master & Commander. I love my my wife of many years, and my children and grandchildren above all else & you will see that in my photos.

I have traveled the world and I have learned to love and respect all people, men and women, born and unborn, young and old, married, single and other, of all cultures, religions, languages, and of all colors and races.

If I use a photo from the Internet and I am not suppose to, please give me the proof or contact Flickr's copywright agent and I will immediately take the photo off of the site or give it the credit you want. Over 95% of the photos were taken by myself or someone in my family.

Please share your photos in my groups, "Sailing Superior" and "Second Hand Sailing" "Apostle Islands" and "White Bear Lake". I was born in St. Paul, graduated from the U of Minn, worked in Anoka County for 15 years and then worked and lived in Hennepin County for over 25 years.
