I'm a serious amateur with a special interest in landscape photography, and what I like to call cityscapes. Professionally, I work in medical/health information systems, though imaging technology and computer graphics are rapidly becoming my real passion on the engineering side. Photography was a real discovery for me because I found it to be an art and science that brings together so many areas that have long intrigued me, but seemed a bit of a random assortment: computer technology (software and hardware), mathematics, physics, astrophysics, theoretical computer science, healthcare and medicine, art and art history. How could all that fit together? Well, it does in photography: both as art and as technology.
