A little Japanese graphic/GUI/whatever designer in San Francisco.

When I was 12, I lost my right eyesight temporarily yet completely. My parents were told that I've lost the right eye, and I'd be lucky if I could keep some of the left eyesight.

Eventually the light came back to the right eye after being hospitalized for a month, but it never recovered completely for everyday use.

I enjoy photography with my left eye as a way to capture the footprints of the life I've lived to this day.

a bit of gear & geek out:
I stopped tagging gear info on my photos. I shoot 35mm, medium format film, Polaroid sometimes, and a tiny bit of digital.

I don't crop pics. I shoot with b/w films, often pushed to 1600. Some pics are from darkroom prints, others are from negatives, both scanned with a Canon flatbed scanner.

other notes:
I really really appreciate your comments, I really do! However, I'll have to delete comments with HUGE award badges, images, "see my stream!" thumbnails (please bring your popularity race efforts somewhere else!). Also, I appreciate invitations to groups, but I don't put my photos in award driven/comment required groups.
