I am legally blind.

In real life I can't see people's faces,
or read headlines in a newspaper.

God bless point-and-shoot cameras!

On my computer, I have software that allows me to zoom in and read. I can see faces on my monitor, and I often leave my nose-print on the screen from squinting to make out the world.

My wife and I have five indoor cats.

We also feed squirrels and birds and an occasional raccoon on our back porch.

I have the greatest sister. She goes by "Cobalt123" herhe in Flickrville. See her photos here: flickr.com/photos/cobalt/ She brought me to Flckr, then gifted me with a PRO account, then she sent me a camera! So you see, this is all her fault :)

You might notice that I am a fan of San Francisco. I like their Left Coast politics, the diversity, the Giants baseball team, McCovey Cove, and even that big cheater Barry Bonds. Go Giants! My best friend Ralph lives out in Berkeley. Ralph does not like Barry even a little bit, so I guess it all evens out. He's an A's fan. We're both Cub fans, too. It's a good life.

I've had a few great cameras. One little Nikon took perfect shots every time for years and years before it finally broke. I had no camera for quite a while. My sister gifted me with an Olympus C960 Zoom for Thanksgiving 2006, which took great shots until it went airborne and landed on concrete. Now it rattles and is no longer fully functional. My amazing Flickr friend dbu2 sent me a Kodak EasyShare Z760, so I have moved up to 6 megapixels! dbu2 RULES!!!! I would write him a tesimonial, but he already has a whole flock of them. He's a Prince among Flickrdom!

Of all the places I've gone, the waterfalls of Yosemite linger on in my mind's eye...
