I am a freelance photographer based in Houston, Texas. I currently shoot per assignment for Houston's Village Voice Media outlet, the Houston Press, SoundSpike.com and Clear Channel Media. I also maintain a personal blog.

I started taking digital pictures in 1996 with a 640x480 Casio Digital Camera. I gradually progressed to better point and shoot cameras until 2007 when I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel XTi. I upgraded to a Canon 5D in 2008 and a 5D Mark II in 2009.
