This site is kind of a sketchbook/online storage space for everything I take. There is no cohesiveness or narrative arc to the presentation. The earliest photos on here are from when I first started. Some day I'll make a real website with only my best material.

Taking photos for me is an exercise in finding beauty in everything, in training my eye, in documenting my experiences, and in remaining involved & detached concurrently.

The only edits I ever make to photos are things you could easily do in a darkroom. I'm too lazy for Photoshop, and also kinda not that interested in it as it relates to most of what I do. No disrespek to those for whom it's a conduit of art.

I used to be 100% film all the way and rocked nothing but my Minolta SRT101. Then I bought a Canon 5D. Then it was stolen. Haha! Might get another someday. It's okay though, because I still think nothing is sexier than film grain.

I welcome feedback of all kinds: positive, negative, neutral, ambivalent. :)
