I'm 36 and located near Toronto, Canada.

My main camera is a Nikon D200 with a few lenses. My favourite lens tends to be my 18-200 VR or my Sigma 10-20mm. I enjoy picking up new methods as I explore, something which is reflected in my photostream. I'm particularly fond of HDR and off-camera flash using speedlights (strobist).

I enjoy the interactions of a site like Flickr, where I can share my photos with the world, and learn from others that may be halfway around the world. I truly believe that the world is full of beautiful places and beautiful things.

Please note - I will require more than a verbal to release the high resolution images, as I have encountered more than one thief pretending to be a customer.

My geocaching "handle" is "northernpenguin". geocaching often brings me to fantastic photo locations.

I appreciate feedback on my photos - good or bad, this helps me grow as a photographer. I generally ignore invitations/awards to groups that require additional comments/awards when posting.
