And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself--Well...How did I get here?

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime
water flowing underground

And you may ask yourself
How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself
Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself
This is not my beautiful wife!

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime
water flowing underground

Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...

Water dissolving...and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Carry the water at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones
there is water underground.

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime
water flowing underground.

And you may ask yourself
What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right?...Am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
My God!...What have I done?

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones
there is water underground

Letting the days go by
let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
water flowing underground
Into the blue again
after the money's gone
Once in a lifetime
water flowing underground.

Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was...

For me, quality photography is about awareness and appreciation, opening a door to gratitude, with allusions of the divine. Perhaps the same could be said about different kinds of art, however this one in particular has the ability to capture the realities and unrealities of a given moment like no other.

"In a photograph where you have established a personal connection between yourself and the object being photographed, you can generate something that cannot be expressed in any other way. But what you are about doesn't come out all at once with your first picture. Only as time goes by do you finally arrive at something you were unconsciously after - which is a wonderful surprise...Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. It can make visible the transcendence of the world around us, it can also be an instrument of personal discipline, an act of meditation and, basically, an act of love.
A photograph is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you, the less you know." ~ Peter Glasser

"I close my eyes in order to see" ~ Paul Gauguin

"Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing." ~ Salvador Dali

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence." ~ Ansel Adams
