About Greg N Sara  

Greg and Sara met in Orlando, Florida at a mall, in a video arcade and the rest is history. That was in 1983, a long, long time ago. They married in 1984. They have raised two daughters, Jessica and Jacqueline.

Greg retired from serving in the US NAVY after 25 years of active duty service. He's working for the gov't doing the same job he was doing as a military man, making sure everything gets done and doing it all with grace.

Sara is a photographer in the southern Maryland area. She uses a Nikon D200 for her photos. The first D200 joined the family on May 7, 2008. Her photography business launched in May 2008. A second Nikon D200 was purchased on March 4, 2009. It was so low on sale that Sara couldn't resist!

Greg and Sara have bought their first and hopefully last house. They live in Southern Maryland. They have painted, changed light fixtures, added ceiling fans, changed window treatments, added cabinets, carpeted the basement, hung shelves and are looking forward to more renovations in the future.

Jessica graduated from VCU in May, 2008. She's living in Atlanta working as an Assistant Buyer for Macy's. She was one of the 7,000 people that lost their jobs in February 2009. She's going to be starting with her new job in early May 2009 working for Jos. A. Bank. This will be a good fit as she will be living in northern Maryland. She will be the assistant merchandising manager and is very excited to make the move!

Jacqueline is a new mom, who is currently attending college. Her ultimate goal is to be a paleontologist. Right now she's writing, reading and studying.

Jacqueline's daughter Violet Arya was born on 5/31/07 @ 9:41 a.m. weighing 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 19 ¾” long. She sleeps all night and gets up around 8 a.m. She's going to be two years old soon, we cannot believe how fast time passes!

From May 7, 2008 - present, photos have been taken with a Nikon D200. From June 8, 2007 - May 6, 2008, photos were taken with a Nikon D40. Other and older photos have been taken with a Sony Cybershot T-33 or a Nikon Coolpix S550. Sara still owns both cameras and usually has one of them in her purse.

Before that it was Nikon Coolpix 950, a Sony DSCP9 Cyber-shot and a Pentax film camera. We still own the Pentax film camera, although it's not in use at this time. We also own a Polaroid One Step that was given to us in 1984 when we married. We take that out now and then at parties.

Some photos have been scanned in from the many boxes and boxes of pictures gathered through the years. Sara is slowly scrap booking the photos and cards from years gone by. Hopefully one day she will have accomplished this, but it's not likely in the near future.
