Vancouver Greenest City 2020's photostream  

The City of Vancouver has a goal to be the Greenest City in the world by 2020. It will be a city where the majority of trips are made by foot, bicycling, and public transit. New buildings will be carbon neutral and existing buildings will be more efficient. It will be a city where every person lives within a five-minute walk of a park, beach, greenway, or natural space. There will be more trees, more green jobs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, clean air, clean water and local food.

A vision this bold can not be realized alone.

Until October 7th, the City of Vancouver is asking you to visit Talk Green to Us and vote, comment and share the green ideas you think we should implement to reach our 2020 targets. City staff are reviewing these ideas as they create our action plans. Talk green to us, we're listening!
