I made a career change to floristry a few years ago, working for my local florist shop www.theflowerboxpt.com/. Lisa Smith, the proprietor, helped me out a lot while I studied part time by providing my course material and lots of encouragement.

After gaining my qualification, becoming Student of the Year in Floristry at Pencoed College, Bridgend, I turned my attention to competition work. Again with Lisa's support, I won several heats of Interflora's annual Florist of the Future competition.

In 2005, I moved to London and worked as a freelancer for various companies including Woodhams and Paula Pryke, before finding the ideal company in which my floristry skills could florish. I'm indebted to Kally Ellis at www.mcqueens.co.uk for the opportunities given me over the last two years.

Hope you enjoy my work: without the help of the people I have just mentioned, these images would not even be here. A special thank you to them and thanks to the many people who have left kind, complimentary and supportive comments on my pictures.
